Leverage

So here I am, 35 yrs old, in the military and still sitting with dreams. You may or may not be in the same position but the dreams are similar I am sure. I want things. Not necessarily obnoxious things but things none-the-less. I call these the "someday dreams" like someday I want to go heli-skiing without gettign sick at the thought of paying $500 for 3 runs down a mountain, someday I'd like to buy a Rolex because I want one but can't bring myself to give up $10,000 for fear that I would be in debt for the next 3 years. Everyone has these "someday dreams". Well, I came to the realization the other day that these "someday dreams" were never going to come true on my current path. The fact is you will never have enough disposible income to feel like you can do that while working by the hour for pay. That's what I do now, even though I earn a salary. My salary is capped at a certain amount and in order to make more I would have to leave my job. If I did leave, I would start again with less time off for my family. That is not a good trade. So the question becomes how does a person get more money with the same amount of hours available ? The answer: Leverage. And Passive Income, my friends, falls within this category.
